Executive - About


Following the Partnership Away Day to discuss the findings of the Peer Review Challenge, at the Hub meeting on 29 April 2008 it was agreed to form a smaller Executive, membership of which will be restricted to the four funding partners plus representatives from the business and voluntary sector.

The task of the Executive is:

To encourage partners to address and deliver the policies, priorities and targets of the Sustainable Community and Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy for Ashfield.

To keep the policies, priorities and targets of the Sustainable Community and Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy for Ashfield under review so as to ensure its continuing relevance to changing circumstances.

To monitor the work of the Thematic Task Groups set up to oversee the implementation of the Sustainable Community and Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy annual Delivery Plans.

In consultation with the Partnership, to review partnership structures and propose revised structures in the light of experience.

To promote the Sustainable Community and Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy for Ashfield and enlist support for it within the District, the region and beyond.

To support the development and implementation of other multi-agency approaches to issues faced by the District.

To collaborate as necessary on the Sustainable Community and Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy with other authorities and agencies in the Alliance Strategic Sub Regional Partnership, the Greater Nottingham Partnership and the Nottinghamshire Partnership in a spirit of partnership.

To identify collectively sources of funding required to sustain and develop the Ashfield Partnership over the long term.

To oversee the implementation of a Performance Management Framework for the LSP.

The membership of the Executive is as listed below. Membership is limited to six voting persons.

  • Ashfield Elected Member, Nottinghamshire

  • County Council Senior Officer, Nottinghamshire County Council

  • Senior Officer, Nottinghamshire County Teaching Primary Care Trust

  • Divisional Commander, Nottinghamshire Police

  • Business Representative

  • Representative, Community and Voluntary Sector

  • Senior Officer, Ashfield Links Forum
