The Ashfield Partnership first came together as a district-wide partnership to improve economic, environmental and social wellbeing in 1999. It was a move based on the recognition that although as individual organisations and members of existing partnerships we had already achieved considerable successes, there remained a great need to build on these successes and develop even closer relationships to tackle the issues facing our community.
Who are we?

Our Commitment to Sustainable Development
The Ashfield Partnership is committed to the principle of Sustainable Development. Sustainable Development is about ensuring a better quality of life for everyone, not just for people now, but for generations to come. It involves environmental, social and economic goals. It is about protecting and where possible enhancing, our environment. It is about seeking to satisfy our basic needs, such as providing warm homes and safe streets and giving people the opportunity to achieve their potential through education, information, participation and good health.
